It is one of the most famous parts of Westminster Abbey. The 1st poet buried here was Geoffrey Chaucer (Canterbury Tales). Others: Spenser (1599), Ben Jonson; Writers buried here include Thackeray, Dickens, Kipling, Thomas Hardy. Many famous people have memorials here: Milton, Wordsworth, Keats, Shelley, Burns, Blake, T.S. Eliot, the Bronte sisters, Jane Austin, etc. George Frederick Handel is also buried here.
