It is a major shopping street and thoroughfare in London's West End, named after the Prince Regent (later George IV) who reigned as regent during his father madness (1812-20). It was designed by John Nash (Buckingham Palace, etc). Famous for its expensive shops. Leads to Piccadilly Circus.
